Place 10 mint leaves into a sling glass
Fill the sling glass to the top with crushed ice
Pour in 0.35 oz of lime juice, 0.5 oz of sugar syrup, 0.75 oz of apple juice and 1.5 oz of gold rum
Top up with ginger beer and stir gently
Top up with crushed ice
Garnish with a mint sprig and a slice of ginger root
