Fill the rocks glass with ice cubes.
Place 2 pineapple slices in the shaker and muddle
Pour 1 oz of lemon juice and 0.65 oz of homemade pineapple syrup into the shaker
Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters, 0.5 oz of Triple Sec, and 2 oz of gold rum
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and gently shake
Pour through the strainer and sieve into the rocks glass
Garnish with a sprig of mint and a dried orange wheel
