Fill a rocks glass to the top with ice cubes
Place 15 Sichuan peppercorns and 10 red basil leaves into a shaker
Pour in 1 oz of lemon juice, 0.75 oz of sugar syrup and 2 oz of vodka
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
Finely strain into the rocks glass
Garnish with lemon zest and a sprig of red basil
